This wealth management institution requires a VP level Operational Risk Manager to join their Dubai business in a role that will offer great development opportunities. The team’s mission is to identify measure and manage operational risk exposure.
Your responsibilities will be:
-Lead implementation of the ORM framework in the MENA region
-Standardisation of the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) process through the design and implementation of a consistent and documented control framework
-Creation of a centralised operational risk inventory
-Management and tracking of operational risk events, monitoring of audit activity and tracking of remediation activity
You should be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and have extensive experience within the financial services industry, covering wealth management/private banking with an in depth knowledge of operational risk management and control. You should have a track record of solving complex problems with experience of working in a global model with matrix management. Working experience in UK, Europe and The Middle East is desired.
