This top tier Asset Manager needs a buy-side equity research VP to join their team in a role that will offer great exposure to a star performer.
Your role will be to:
- Research global emerging markets equity investment opportunities and provide investment recommendations to the CIO and portfolio managers
-Look for hidden value in various sectors
-Provide ad hoc analysis for the portfolio managers
-participate and advise in portfolio management meetings
-manage deliverables for the research team
You will preferably be a CFA charter holder that has graduated from a top business school. Your experience should include circa 7 years in an equity research role in a bulge bracket bank or top asset management house. You will have ideally researched a sector agnostic global emerging markets buy-side mandate or focused on the BRIC region (Brazil, Russia, India or China).
Ideally you should have looked at several sectors such as telecoms/TMT, oil and gas, infrastructure, real estate. Relocation will be provided for excellent candidates.
