Our client is the property arm of an Abu Dhabi based semi government institution. They have a huge portfolio of construction and property management and as these projects increase in response to the Abu Dhabi 2030 initiative, an Arabic speaking, degree qualified Civil Engineer Project Manager with over 10 years experience in the UAE is required.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the execution project cycle to meet the required specification and the client satisfaction. You will direct, coordinate and execute the assigned activities, involved mainly in the implementation of the engineering projects and technical assignment within the Department following up activities related to construction projects. You will oversee the actual construction work and participate in the technical support to the Organisation’s operations.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with over 10 years experience as a Civil Engineer in the UAE working for a reputable contracting/construction company on mixed-use complexes and towers. A professional qualification management certification (PMP or MBA) is preferred. A good knowledge of written and spoken English is required and fluency in Arabic is essential. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and project planning tools as well as engineering project planning software, is required. The ideal candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi.
