Our client is the region’s premier manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of high quality plastic pipes, fittings and accessories.

Due to expansion, a Head of Sales is required to provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.

Duties include:
• Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
• Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
• Determine price schedules and discount rates.
• Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Marketing.
• Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company.
• Directs and coordinate the sales operations with the department and local branches to achieve set objectives and targets.
• Contributes to the Company’s Strategic Plan development.
• Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.
• Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
• Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and contacts with other relevant agents.
• Lead and influence a successful and experienced team of Sales managers.
• Monitor, analyze sales and market trends.
• Responsible for managing and controlling the sales budget 9in the hundred millions range)
• Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level and build a top notch sales team.
• Responsible for driving revenue and use learning’s from that experience to refine sales processes and to build an appropriate team;
• Attract, retain, train, and motivate a diverse sales force.

Requirements:
• Strong business acumen, relationship building and negotiation skills.
• Sound technical and industrial (plastic) knowledge.
• Sound exposure of Middle Eastern markets.
• Must have proven oral and written fluency in English and Arabic languages.
• Sound knowledge of MS Office

Key Skills:
• Sales, Business Development and Customer Relationship Management.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience
Educational Requirement:
• Master’s Degree (Marketing or Similar)
