Due to growth in the local market, our client, a globally recognised FMCG and distribution company is currently seeking a Country Finance Manager to join their business in Afghanistan.
The role’s responsibilities will include supervising Regional Managers across the country in relation to financial accounting, management accounting, payroll, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, payroll and stock control for the region. You will implement processes and procedures as well as provide financial management information for decision support and control. You will be required to be open minded with the ability to push back when evaluating projects/budgets and product business plans. You will have previous experience in preparing key financial figures/indicators to support target setting as well as implement strategic plans.
For this position the company requires a qualified accountant, with a catering, FMCG or distribution background. You will ideally have supervisory skills, great attention to detail and excellent written and verbal English communication skills. You will display the ability to prioritize duties, meet deadlines and bring in process improvements. You will be a motivated self-starter looking for a challenge with a willingness to be part of a management team. The successful candidate will be based in Afghanistan.
